Additional information about the hardware for MusicReader

Foot pedal

• The foot pedal is connect to your computer via the USB port. The pedal is plug and play, no additional settings are required.
• The pedal uses page-up/-down keys to give MusicReader commands.
• The window of MusicReader must be the window that is focused, otherwise it will not work.

Laptop pen (windows only)

The laptop pen has its own manual, which you should use for reference. There are however two things we want to add to this manual.

After installing the software you need to remove the station from the USB and add it again. If you do not reinsert the USB connect it will not function properly.

When calibrating the laptop pen you it is also recommended to hold the pen in the position which you use when you write on the screen. The reason for this is that different angles of the pen result in different settings. Wrong settings can cause differences in the detected location of the pen.
